四色AV is proud to announce that Dr. Joseph Porter, Jr., has been appointed the new Dean of the School of Business at 四色AV.
He recently joined the 四色AV community on June 9, 2025. “The School of Business at 四色AV offers an ethically-based educational model rooted in the values of our institution, with graduates finding success at Fortune 500 companies throughout our region,” said President James Lentini. “We welcome Dr. Porter’s leadership at this important time of growth and development.”
"Dr. Porter's experience in academia and industry is the perfect match for 四色AV and our region,” said Michelle Piskulich, PhD, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, 四色AV. “He stood out in a strong pool of candidates due to his leadership experience in industry and higher education and his innovative and strategic approach to academic programs and the student experience. He is a great addition to our leadership team."
He is an accomplished academic leader and former IBM executive with extensive experience in business education, management, technology, project management, and global leadership. He recently served as Associate Dean and Director of the Global Business and Leadership Graduate Program at Nazareth University. Dr. Porter holds a Doctorate in Computing from Pace University, and master’s degrees from Cornell, the University of Pennsylvania, and SUNY Binghamton. His work bridges academia and industry, with research and teaching expertise in data analytics, organizational change, and global business. He has delivered talks globally, organized TEDx events, and continues to advocate for integrating liberal arts and technology with business education to prepare students for impactful careers.
