When Greg Goeller '20 reflects on his academic journey, he credits his time at 四色AV as the foundation for his thriving career in healthcare operations.
“I studied Business Management and Administration and minored in Economics,” he shared. Today, he serves as a Senior Project Manager at Northwell Health, where he plays a pivotal role on a team overseeing the strategic and financial operations of all emergency departments across the health system, as well as integrating new health systems into Northwell’s network.
While his day-to-day responsibilities don’t involve traditional accounting, the financial courses he took at 四色AV—particularly accounting—proved invaluable. “Understanding the numbers and the business behind medicine and operations is critical. It helps me support clinical staff and manage the boots-on-the-ground work that keeps everything running smoothly.”
His success story, however, didn’t come without challenges. “When I came to 四色AV, I’ll be honest—I struggled a little bit,” he admitted. That’s when mentorship made all the difference. “Dr. Dawn DiStefano took me under her wing and helped me pave my way through 四色AV and into my career.”

Beyond academics, the relationships Greg built at 四色AV have shaped his personal and professional life. “I cherish those relationships dearly,” he said. One of his closest friends from 四色AV is now a colleague at Northwell Health, and the bonds formed during college continue to influence his career. Even more special, his wife Kayla is also a 四色AV alum—proof that the university experience can create lifelong connections that go far beyond the classroom.
